TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is conducted for recruiting the teachers for government schools. If a candidate who wants to become a government teacher they have to write this TET exam. In every state conduct their own Teacher Eligibility Test for recruiting the teacher. That’s why it is referred as State-level TET (State-level Teacher Eligibility Test). State-level TET means each state conduct the TET which is named as Tamil Nadu TET (TNTET), kerela TET (K-TET) etc. The test which is organized by the central government and it is called as Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Central TET). For CTET entrance test is valid for 5 years and State level TET is valid for 7 years. Without this TET certificate aspirants can’t join in any of the government job. If candidates have this certificate should utilize that period to join in the government school before it becomes expired from the validity period.
To write this TET exam age should between 18yrs to 40yrs and not exceed the 40 yrs. For education qualification should possess bachelor degree is must and along with this degree they should have master degree & B.Ed.
Exam Pattern and syllabus:
It has two papers. First paper has five section and second paper have four sections. It is the objective type questions and conducted in online mode. It has 150 questions for 150 marks and time allotted for this TET exam is 3hrs.
